The August challenge

First of all, where did August come from? Seriously, it totally snuck up on me. Between traveling, my yoga immersion, trips to MN for my sister’s pre-wedding events, running & work, somehow the summer seems to have gotten away from me. Eeeeeeeeee….

Anyway…when I started the blog, one of the things I wanted to do right off the bat was organize a challenge that involved doing something every day to get myself outside of my comfort zone. It could be a big thing like skydiving (kind of clich√©, but still something I would like to do) or a littler thing like picking up the phone and ordering my veggie pizza with vegan cheese instead of doing it online (seriously, I don’t remember the last time I ordered pizza from an actual human being).

As it turns out, one of the bloggers I follow religiously, Angela at Oh She Glows, had the exact same idea & posted it on her blog today. Rather than completely reinventing the wheel, I’m going to post a link to her site & you can read about the challenge there. I will be posting my progress on the blog & would love to hear from you guys and gals as well. Have you been dying to take a dance class but were too afraid of looking silly?¬† Have your running shoes been collecting dust in the back of your closet? Whatever your fear may be, now is as good a time as any to challenge it.
